Tom Nesmith challenges James Moore on NADP/LAC cuts
On 12 September 2012, Dr. Tom Nesmith attended an open interview with James Moore, Minister of Canadian Heritage. During the Q & A portion of the event, Dr. Nesmith challenged the Canadian government’s decision to make devastating cuts to the archival community of Canada, pointing out that archval resources are a major factor in developing/supporting the various cultural activities promoted by Moore earlier in the interview.
